Thank you for your interest in Intertwined Handfasting Cords! Whether you are choosing between designs, planning a custom colour scheme or wondering how handfasting works, we are happy to help. You can send us a message through our Facebook or Instagram pages.
We will endeavour to respond to messages within 48 hours (except when the shop is on holiday – we will respond within 48 hours of our return).
If your wedding is coming up soon, please mention the date in your first message so we can let you know straight away whether your cord can be made and delivered in time.
Before you get in touch
You may find your answer straight away:
- Cord size: each cord is approximately 1.5cm wide and 1.5m long. Other lengths can be made on request.
- Processing time: every cord is made to order, so please allow 3–7 working days plus delivery.
- Charms: any design can be made with or without charms, and the charm shown can be swapped for another from our selection.
- How many cords? Two cords are most common, but you can use three or more – see About Handfasting Ceremonies.
Planning a custom order?
To help us get your custom handfasting cord just right, it helps to include your chosen ribbon colours (or a photo of your colour scheme), whether you would like charms and which ones, how many cords you need, any non-standard length, and your wedding date so we can plan ahead.
